Monkey See Monkey Draw

Marlo has done so many doodles of yours truly, yet I hadn't done one in return! Then the guilt started to set...in along with the desire to see if I could do it. She demanded that I post the result, so here it'tiz. I'm going to color it when I have time, but for now, enjoy this. ;o)

I don't know if I'd agree that girls draw better....I think they're more of a novelty than anything (at least the ones who have even a little skill).

When I was in art school, I was shamefully outnumbered in the illustration department! TOO MANY BOYZ! :o)

I discovered your blog through Heri.

Beautiful, beautiful work.

Right now I'm just beginning to count all the flaws in this picture... I'm kidding of course! You have some awesome stuff here.

Mr Bodidarma does have a point. I think girls pay more attention to detail than boys. Our minds start to wander after a while and, as a consequence, we...

"I'm an illustrator. If you want to know more you're going to have to ask....try me."

Here's question...

How the hell did you get so talented? You put my girls to shame(to be fair, mine are still all still undetailed, but still your drawings are way less crude). Click my name to see for yourself.

However, I'm quite good at drawing gruesome things. Maybe we can collaborate our drawings in a novel sometime.

Blogger is way cooler than myspace. All the artists are here.

i dont pay attention to detail. i am fascinated that you can recognize someone from far away. Even when they look so simple.

maybe i'm not a girl. Bill wray told me that I'm bi. apparently i am BI?????

Yeah i want to see more unfinished work too. Draw Uv !

I think I focus on detail sometimes because its fun. I'm not in the habit of planning my pictures - the time i enjoy most is just drawing it. giving it lots of detail prolongs the experience, hehe.

I actually never used to color my sketches...I had to figure out HOW first! Its hard to keep the integrity of the linework at the same time.

p.s. Marlo I HAVE drawn UV! At least 7 or 8 times. ARe you blind? hahhaha. I haven't in about a year, if you don't count that comic of him and me. I should try AGAIN! :o)
